Dear Mr. McDonald, My name is Michelle Calandra and I am writing to you about Bill Bucheleres. I recently purchased a preowned Subaru from him. Now, You might be saying to yourself, "Oh that's nice, but that's what I hired him for so that's to be expected." Well, I am writing to inform you that Bill is much more than I expected and not your ordinary, everyday car salesmen. Let me elaborate. I live in South Carolina, purchased this car from the internet, from a used car salesmen half way across the country and am a woman who knows where the gas tank is and little else about cars. Obviously, one could say that I am either stupid or naive given the reputation of used car salesmen and the current abdication of basic morals in society. Regarding myself, I would like to think that such is not the case, which is the reason why I feel compelled to write this letter. Bill Bucheleres gained my confidence! Through numerous phone conversations and email correspondence he patiently answered all my questions. He showed kindness in response to my fear of buying a car I had never seen. He was honest in not taking advantage of my lack of knowledge. He was patient in giving me time to make a decision and giving me advice about finding a car transport company. He was fair in the price he quoted me and much to my relief, when the car arrived it was every thing Bill had promised it would be! (It even had an engine...couldn't resist.) I don't know who loved it more, my son or I. You are fortunate to have Bill as an employee. I was fortunate and blessed in being able to buy an automobile from someone who upholds the virtues of Justice and Charity. Rare to find today and even rarer in your industry. Buying a car can be a daunting task. Buying one after moving to a new city and from a new dealership or salesperson is even more daunting. I truly feel fortunate to have purchased my ’09 Outback from Bill.

 

From the very beginning Bill was professional, respectful, and honest. Even more, Bill knows Subaru. So many other salespeople simply read off the car stats and figures. Bill knows every detail about Subaru’s - above and beyond the car’s window sticker.

 

Lastly, throughout the financing process, Bill kept his word, outlined each expense without surprises, and earned our trust while cutting a great deal. We will go back to Bill and McDonald for all future Subaru purchases.

To whom it may concern: I had a most wonderful experience yesterday, Jan. 14, 2010. I was in the market to trade my current Subaru, and purchase another. My son Paul and I were warmly greeted by Phil Bayer, and shortly thereafter Bill Bucheleres assisted in my transaction. Mr McDonald,

I wanted to write and let you know of how pleased I was with my experience at your dealership this week. Our beloved 2001 XC70 had 145K of miles on it and I wanted to shop for a replacement. I called volvo certified and talked to Mike Hanis (sp?). He was extremely helpful and listened to my concerns. Within a few minutes Les Gum called and said he'd have three cars ready for me when I arrived that morning (12/31) - a volvo XC70, subaru outback and mazda cx9. When I arrived I met Mike and Les and test drove the cars. I quickly learned that Les was not a match for me and continued to talk with Mike and ultimately Bill Bucheleres about the purchase of the subaru. I can't say enough about Mike and Bill - their professionalism, knowledge and patience as we closed the deal and I received my car. Bill answered my many questions about Subaru, demo'd the car for me and was extremely helpful. Mike explained the ins and outs of the our trade and educated me on the differences in the vehicles we were looking at. I am a long term customer of Rickenbaugh and have had our volvos serviced there for years. We will be servicing our outback - and possibly our volvo XC90 with your organization. Hey Bill!

Just wanted to thank you so much for being such a great help with the purchase of my Subaru Impreza!  I really did feel very comfortable asking you questions about the cars I was looking at, which was especially important for me being a first time car owner.  Being that you are a Subaru owner, I always knew I was getting an answer from someone incredibly knowledgeable who truly appreciates and has experienced first-hand, the unique qualities of Subaru.  Thank you for all your help during this whole process!  I am loving my car, and could not be happier with my purchase!

My wife and I have been Subaru fans for many years and when some guy crushed our '99 Outback we had to find a new one.  We shopped the usual listings and dealers hoping to find a used one when we happened across McDonald Auto Group and Bill Bucheleres.  The inventory and the condition of the cars spoke for themselves.  We bought a used Legacy at a fair market price compared to what we saw in the online listings.  As it turned out, the car had a flaw that was missed in the dealer inspection and prep but was quickly remedied by the dealership.  Because of the quality of the Subaru we don't need to buy one that often but the next time we do we'll know where to go.

Good Morning Mr. McDonald,

I'd like to thank the McDonald Dealership and Bill Bucheleres for a great car buying experience Friday, August 28th.  We stopped by the new Subaru branch, Bill was so helpful and pleasant to work with we stayed and drove several cars, even bought one!  It was by far the best car shopping and buying experience we have ever encountered. Bill was extremely knowledgeable, fair on prices and fun to work with. 

We definitely appreciated the ease and comfort of the situation

I hope this Subaru project is successful, Bill was wonderful and it would be much deserved.  Thanks again, we've never actually written an auto dealer to thank them for the wonderful experience, but this is much deserved!
