Originally from Chicago, I came to Colorado to pursue my passion for skiing.  My avenue to get here was college where I pursued another passion, geology.  I graduated from UNC in 1984 with a degree in Petroleum Geology.

After a short while in the restaurant business, I started an automotive career with Burt Subaru in 1986.  With a love for skiing, biking and the outdoors in general, Subaru was the logical choice for me.  I have made many friends during my 23 years at Burt and will make many more here with McDonald Automotive Group.

I feel that the atmosphere of a family owned and operated business is better suited for my style of customer service and satisfaction.

“TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER AND THE CUSTOMER WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU” has always been my philosophy in the automobile business.

90% of my business over the past 23 years has been driven by repeat and referral customers.  That is something I am very proud of and have earned by being upfront and honest with all my customers.

Hello I am Phil Bayer, born in Colorado and raised in Madison Wisconsin.  My wife Krissy of 18 years, decided to go skiing in Colorado for spring break of 1988. We loved it so much that we moved to Colorado in June of 1988.  As soon as I moved here, I got busy with my life:  Enrolled and graduated from American Automotive and Diesel College, got married and started my career in the automotive industry.

I started my career as an automotive technician at a local Honda Dealership in Denver.  I spent the next 15 years at Honda, I have 2 kids, several dogs and decided to move to Littleton to raise my family. I decided in 2004 to make the transition to service advisor from technician to help educate myself in that realm of the Dealership process. 

I am now at McDonald Automotive Independent Subaru sales and service center and I am looking forward to this next chapter of my life.

I enjoy Colorado’s outdoors, camping, hiking and most of all skiing and snowshoeing. I am looking forward to meeting All of your Subaru service needs.
